Welcome to our home
The Scott-Farrar Home holds a special place among licensed assisted living communities in the Monadnock Region. Small and home-like, the atmosphere is one of warmth and caring for our nineteen residents. Our attractive estate-like home is located close to downtown Peterborough on three and a half landscaped acres with a walking path and sitting areas. Our active volunteer Board of Trustees is committed to ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care at a cost well below that of other assisted living communities in
the region.

The subject of Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town,” Peterborough is a quintessential New England town, with a mixture of well-preserved early architecture and landscaped parks, rivers, shops, restaurants and galleries. Peterborough is well-known for its cultural and educational events, and there is always something of interest taking place throughout the year — lectures at the historical society, summer concerts, art gallery openings, plays and concerts at the Town House, or just taking in the latest film at the town movie theater.
